What makes Darrow Automotive different is our Equity Partnership program.
The Darrow Automotive acquisition model recognizes the importance of having the partner hold equity as incentive to maintain the focus and intensity necessary to produce continued results and the opportunity to acquire more equity through operating profits. Also, by not imposing a "corporate culture" to the local operations, issues that lead to declining productivity are prevented.
Each dealership is individually managed and operated day-to-day as a partnership between the Equity Partner and Darrow Automotive. Our operating model is based on the concept of corporate decentralization. We believe our Equity Partners are the best-qualified individuals to run their locations, so we do not believe there is a need for a huge, expensive corporate office that dictates restrictive policies. As such, we have a small, shared-services office whose primary responsibilities are audit, compliance and guidance. We also understand that advertising strategies vary by market and that each franchise and location is unique. Once again, we rely on our Equity Partners to make the right choices for their operations.
We also believe the enormous growth opportunities in the $1 trillion automotive retailing industry will allow us to expand our Equity Partnership Program in the coming months and years.
